Project Mano Amiga

Proyecto Mano Amiga is a community center in Balgue, Ometepe, Nicaragua. This collaborative effort with U.S. NGO Project Bona Fide and Totoco Community Development Center provides a community center on the ground floor and a community library on the second floor. This community center is the “base” of information for Balgue, Ometepe, Nicaragua as well as many surrounding villages – well over 1000 children and parents.  Some of its programs include a woman’s sewing cooperative, computer and technology classes, and tutorials for struggling students.
